2019 here we come!

Hello there! Our first post since October - oops, sorry about that. As usual plans for New Year took over our lives but all the effort was worth it tenfold as we brought in the new year surrounded by fantastic music and good friends. Thank you to everyone who made it possible, most particularly every single one of the volunteers (and there were many) who gave up their time to keep everything running. Our events would not be possible with out you - THANK YOU!

So, what's to come in 2019 you ask? So far confirmed we have the annual community Burns Supper on Saturday 26th January which is sure to be a wonderful night of food, music, speeches, drams and dancing. There's a sheet in the tearoom to add your name if you want to come - get it noted down quick as there's only a few days to go.

Our first confirmed music event of the year is EABHAL who will be launching their debut album at the hall on Friday 1st March.

'Full of energy and bold ideas but firmly grounded in the Scottish & Gaelic tradition, Eabhal are one of Scotland's brightest up and coming bands that continue to evolve our music.' - Angus Lyon (Blazin’ Fiddles)

It's sure to be a great night and we're looking forward to welcoming another up and coming band to the Knoydart hall stage. To keep up to date on info join our event page.

There will also be an update coming within the next couple of weeks on where we are with the hall refurb. Rest assured, we have been working hard in the background and we can't wait to share our plans for 2019 with you so keep tuned.

That's all for now, cheerie!

Stephanie & all on the hall committee.
