A couple of years ago a very old oak tree was felled in Inverie for safety reasons and we were thrilled when the Knoydart Forest Trust suggested it be used in the hall refurb and extension.
This week brought an exciting development as the milled floor boards were fired in to the kiln and we are able to see some samples of what our future hall floor will look like!
Using local materials in the refurb is very important and we are happy to be giving this old tree a new lease of life. We're looking forward to the first dance already!
